Electricity - offgrid

In the camper is a one extra car batterywhich is recharged by solar panel or while the vehicle is running. Thanks to this battery, all the electricity of the caravan's living area works. When the voltage converter (400W) is switched on, there are two 230V sockets plus 2 USB ports. You can easily charge here notebookcamera, drone, portable speaker or phone. The ideal is to switch on the voltage converter and recharge the electronics while driving. A hairdryer or kettle won't do it though / it will drain the fuses. The entire interior of the car is illuminated with LED floodlights.

If you decide to go to the camping place, there is a possibility of connecting to external source of electricity. There is a 230V socket on the outside of the car. In the caravan there is a cable and extension cord for this. If you are camping you will have 2 230V sockets in the caravan, and you will be able to connect more powerful appliances to the electricity.

Water

In the car is 90 litres water tank . We know from experience that in normal use (cooking, washing up, showering) it lasts approx. 4-5 days. This tank is also connected to the external shower in the back of the vehicle. In the car there is a boiler with a capacity of 5 litres for hot water  (reaches a temperature of max 60 degrees). The water is heated only if you heat with an independent diesel heater or if you are connected to an external electricity source from the campsite. We only ever pump drinking water into the cars, but as it is in the car for longer periods of time, we recommend it for cooking or boiled for coffee and tea. We recommend that you always take drinking water with you in bottles or flasks. Waste water flows into the waste tank, which must be emptied continuously during the trip.

When the water runs out, there is a water hose in the storage compartment on the roof. Use the water hose to refill the water directly into the tank. You can find a source of water in the campsite, in the cemetery or in the mountain environment (Tatras, Alps) there are many small streams.

Extra equipment

There is always a spare 2 l gas cylinder in case the one in the kitchen runs out, you can replace it or you can use it for cooking outdoors. Water hose, windscreens for front windows, camping equipment - two chairs and a table, striple silver sun protection film for side windows and windscreen. Of course there is also mandatory caravan equipment - first aid kit, reflective vests, triangle, fire extinguisher. As first aid for caravan we added en-tape, duct tape, a set of wrenches, a wrench. In case of interest it is possible to install bike rack. On the roof of the car there are two storage boxes - one for the basic equipment of the car and the other as a storage space for you.
